• Funded visit to the Academic Development Unit, University of Wollongong, Australia to present on Faculty strategies for professional development and to discuss professional development models and evaluation methods. 29 Nov – 3 Dec 2010.
• Invited to participate in a select set of discussions at the Australian Council on Open, Distance & E-learning Strategic Technology Summit. 30 Sep 2010.
• Invited panelist (Social Media in Education) at the ‘Making Sense of Social Media’ conference Conference’ held at Athabasca University, Edmonton, Canada. April 26, 2010.

• Invited to join a group of Australasian elearning leaders and practitioners at for a round table discussion on contemporary issues in elearning hosted by the Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ascilite) and Desire2Learn. 18 June 2008.
• Invited visitor and presenter at the Educational Media Development (EMD) Department, Athabasca University, Canada. 25 April 2008.
