I was born in the U.K and brought up in the wonderfully sedate seaside town of Bournemouth. As I moved through my undergradaute and postgraduate studies I also moved steadily north with four years in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and almost 10 years in Edinburgh. I emigrated to New Zealand in 2000 and settled in Auckland which has been my home ever since. I spend my spare time reading, writing and trying to get better at taking photographs with my impressive Canon EOS 5D digital camera. I also like to watch distracting blockbuster movies and I occassionally dabble in cooking which I first learned during my school years.
